Burp Back Education

When it comes to burp back education, its how schools have been running for years. The idea that students are actually learning everything that a teacher tells them would be a lie. In my classroom, although it will not a traditional classroom because I will be a physical education teacher I don't want my students just running through the motions. We as teachers should want our students to participate and learn like a sponge. The idea that we are allowing the students of the future just to burp back anything that is told to them instead of using the ideas with other situations is just crazy talk.
I as teacher want my students to be able to leave my classroom and run to their parents and tell and maybe even show them what they learned. We want our students to questioned and wonder about things and discover new ideas that correlate with the old. The idea of burp back education is one that should be banned and never taught. Teacher had got to want their students to be the future of tomorrow not to memorizes today. Although there are times when just taking information and spilling it back out works but what really have you achieved.
Burp Back education is gone with the past and I believe that teachers of tomorrow have really realized this and are doing their best to keep it that way.
